The government provides tens of billions of forints for irrigation development
The government provides additional resources of 34.8 billion HUF for the operation of water irrigation infrastructure by 2024 and 17 billion HUF annually for the development of state irrigation-related state works by 2030 – Feldman Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told on Thursday at AGROmashEXPO and Agricultural Machinery Show in Budapest.
The Minister of State highlighted that in the first half of 2019, the national irrigation center will start to operate, within the National Agricultural Research and Innovation Center (NAIK). In addition, they simplify the procedures for developing irrigation management and reduce administrative burdens. (MTI)
