Satellite-based development is underway to mitigate drought damage
The consortium formed by Combit Számítástechnikai Zrt., the University of Óbuda and the Széchenyi István University won 756.55 million HUF in European Union support for the development of a satellite against drought damage.
According to a statement sent to MTI by the Combi Számítástechnikai Zrt. on Tuesday, the WREN (Water Resources in Efficient Networks) artificial intelligence decision support system will be funded by EU funding until March 2025, which could help alleviate drought damage for precision agriculture.
