More than 300 million HUF fines for relabeled gum sugar
The Pest County Government Office imposed fines on about 400 thousand relabeled bags of gum sugar in a value of more than 300 million HUF – the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) told.
The food safety inspectors found 149 pallets of sugar gum candies at a warehouse in Pest County. The verification revealed that the poor quality products were stored in a Pest County warehouse by a Swiss-based company than relabeled them with an expiry date of 2014 and tried to sell them. (MTI)
