According to a survey, the proportion of youth saving has increased by more than half in ten years
In ten years, the proportion of saving young people has increased by more than half. According to a K&H group survey of start-ups, 19-29 year olds, their average savings increased from 204 thousand HUF to 517 thousand HUF between 2012-2019 and proportion of those who have savings increased from 34 percent to 57 percent.
According to the announcement of the group, the value, management and use of money has undergone several changes over the last ten years, for example, rental prices have doubled in less than half a decade. The average is -120 thousand HUF in Western Hungary and it is 70-80 thousand HUF in Eastern Hungary. (MTI)
