Household chemicals and cosmetics were sold for 310 billion HUF last year
The food retail sold about 310 billion HUF worth household chemicals and cosmetics in 2013, 1 percent more than in a year earlier. The Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company registered a 3 percent decreasein volume one year to the other.
The revenue of the stores increased above the average, in terms of value from the twenty busiest product categories, such as toothpaste and fabric softener, where a 4-4 percent increase occured, and from detergents and dishwashing detergents, where a 3-3 percent increase occured. Food retail sales increased in terms of both value and volume, including the following categories: deodorants, facial and eye wrinkle cream and soap.
