On 4 May Ecommerce Hungary organised a one-hour online discussion about fair market conduct and inspections by the authorities in online retail. The experts invited were Máté Siklósi, who operates Panaszkezelő.hu and Dr Zita Horváth, head of the legal affairs department at Decathlon.
One of the reasons why the discussion took place was that just recently the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) has imposed a several-billion-forint fine on Booking.com for misleading communication and aggressive market conduct. Participants discussed the differences between consumer protection authority and GVH checkups too. //
