Hundred million HUF fine for Lidl and for Penny
Lidl was fined 155 million HUF, while Penny Market for 109 million HUF, for unfair distributor practices.
In addition to those that mentioned above; investigations are ongoing against six other retail chains, but decision has not been made yet. According to Kardeván Endre, State Secretary responsible for food chain supervision and agri management in the Ministry of Rural Development; despite the fines, it is positive that the supervision faced less food safety problems this year, than it was previously expected – reports penzcentrum.hu.
