Fondants with double function

Though we do not have sales figures about the market of fondants, no radical changes were been seen last year. According to Imre Horváth, general director of Sweet Point Zrt., it is time for the business to recognise the possibilities in the double function of fondants, as these are not only sweets but a form of decoration as well. Bonbonetti Kft. modernised its fondant assortment last season by packaging it in new, sealed plastic bags which helps to keep them fresh for longer. This year, their innovation is fondants under the Disney label, while the packaging of Tibi fondants will also become more elegant. Among Milka fondants, marzipan products will be focused on this year. Their marzipan content has been increased and packaging has also become more attractive.
