Hotel Association: hotels in Budapest are good in occupancy lagging behind in prices

In case of occupancy, the hotels of Budapest are on the 11^th place, but in terms of net average room price are on the 30^th place among the studied 31 European cities – the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) told on Wednesday at the evaluation on the January-August 2012 performance of the international and domestic hotel industry.

According to the study based on the analysis of the STR Global tourism market research company, during the first eight months of the year Budapest was on the 24^th place in terms of hotel room occupancy, 29^th in average room rate and, 28^th in RevPAR among the 31 cities.
