SuperShop – 1 million reasons for shopping!

In the 6 April-5 May 2010 period SuperShop started an activity with the involvement of all their partners. They targeted 1.85 million card holders and 80,000 potential new ones, with the goals of higher turnover, an increase in card usage and promoting cross-usage among partners. The campaign’s mechanism was completely new: after each HUF 4,000 spent shoppers with SuperShop cards were given a Winner Card, on which it was printed whether they won or not. For the printing special technology was used and the card could only be read under special red light – shoppers were informed about this in a television spot. Four million cards were distributed and every 15th won; the main prize was 1 million SuperShop points. All campaign goals were achieved and the promotion added an exciting game to the shopping experience.
