Spar Italia Uses Apps, Games To Enhance Shopping Experience
A number of Spar partners across Italy have rolled out mobile apps and games to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
In the Northeast and Emilia-Romagna regions, Aspiag Service is using a mobile app to enhance customer loyalty and brand recognition, through its ‘Despar Tribù’ loyalty scheme.
The app provides store information, access to special offers and loyalty points updates, while a number of in-app games have also driven engagement, with users even setting up social media groups to discuss solutions to the app’s various puzzles.
During the second half of 2019, Aspiag also rolled out mobile payment options in a number of Despar, Eurospar, and Interspar stores, allowing customers to pay with either Apple Pay or Samsung Pay.
