Many festival goers let their uploaded amount to lose
The system called FestiPay ensures cashless payment, however, many festival goers do not spend the uploaded amount, nor do they arrange for a refund on the spot – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
Last year, the Sziget Kulturális Menedzser Iroda Zrt. had more than 104 million HUF revenue from the remaining amounts on the cards – the company’s 2018 financial report announced. This item was generated by the FestiPay system, which, among other things, provides cash-free, integrated access-payment at the Sziget Festival, the VOLT Festival and the Balaton Sound.
