Own emoji for rosé wines

An association of rosé wine makers in northern Italy, is asking for an emoji from the American Unicode consortium.

The standard for unified Internet writing systems is maintained by Unicode, California.

“If we write to each other about wines on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, we can use the emoji of the red wine goblet, the two toasted champagne glasses or the champagne bottle, but the icon representing the rosette is completely missing,” quoted Franco Cristoforetti, Chiaretto and Bard president of the Italian wine magazine WineNews.it.
