The economic sentiment of the population and companies has also deteriorated compared to the previous month due to the worsening virus situation and the introduced austerity measures – the Századvég Economic Research sent the results of its March survey to MTI.
According to the announcement, the value of the index, interpreted on a scale between -100 and +100, fell significantly from -6.4 points to -11.4 points for the population and from -12.1 points to -15.1 points for enterprises. The retail index thus fell to the level of October last year, while the corporate index fell to the level of July last year. (MTI)
