The economic climate deteriorated in the EU in February
Economic sentiment worsened in February both in the euro area and throughout the European Union.
According to a report from the European Union’s Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (EcFin) published on Wednesday, the economic sentiment indicator (ESI), which reflects confidence in the economy, dropped by 0.2 points to 106.1 points in February. The value is slightly better than the 106 points expected by analysts. (MTI)
