Consumer sentiment in the United States deteriorated in March
Consumer sentiment in the United States deteriorated more than expected in March due to concerns about high inflation.
The consumer sentiment index fell from 62.8 points in February to 59.7 points in March, according to non-final data from the University of Michigan’s monthly survey, released on Friday. Analyst expectations averaged a less deteriorating indicator of 61.4 points for March. (MTI)
