The 2016 festival season brought records and some rain
HEINEKEN Hungária organized a mini-conference for the third time to close the festival season. The main theme of this year's conference was festival experience and festival security. Most of the festival organizers had a good year, the events of this year have escaped the more serious accidents. The festivals would increase further next year, but not at any price.
In his welcome speech José Matthijssen, CEO of Heineken Hungária told that the company has been present for many years in more than 70 percent of the music festivals in Hungary from the huge festivals (VOLT, Balaton Sound) to the smallest ones. This year's draft beer sales increased nicely, compared to last year. But boom was only noticeable in cider consumption.
