Companies’ willingness to lend increased to record levels
Lending to Hungarian companies reached a record. It was 20 percent higher than a year before, according to Atradius Credit Insurance.
According to a study, made with the involvement of 1,500 Hungarian and Eastern European companies, the Barometer of Payment Practices shows, while last year 59.1 percent of the transactions were made on loan, this year 77.8 percent were on credit. This places Hungary in third place in the region after the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
