EU’s largest peach growers perform at a record low
The four leading peach and nectar producing Member States of the European Union (Spain, Italy, Greece and France) are expected to reduce their yields by 15% to 1.87 million tonnes by 2021, compared to a year before. The yield of nectarines could decrease by 14 percent to 882.9 million tons, that of peaches by 17 percent to 767.1 thousand tons, and that of flat peaches by 14 percent to 226.3 thousand tons.
