Record turnover of the Tesco clothing brands
According to the datas of GfK Hungária,Tesco had the largest turnover on the clothing market in the first quarter of 2009.
While the overall market showed a 13 percent decline, Tesco increased its result with almost 19 percent, in this segment. According to the research of 2009 the first quarter of the year, Cherokee and F & F owned the total turnover of the domestic textiles market
with 5.1 percent, about 50 percent above the second-largest market share competitor.
The effectiveness is also strengthen by the discount summer clothing action, offering an up to 70 percent discount price for summer clothes, since 19 June.
