Raiffeisen: Economic growth could be 2.5 percent this year
Instead of the previously expected 4.5 percent, this year’s economic growth may be around 2.5 percent in Hungary and next year’s around 2 percent, Zoltán Török, an analyst at Raiffeisen Bank, told the financial institution’s latest forecast at an online press conference on Thursday. Raiffeisen forecasts annual inflation of around 10 percent this year, which could fall to 6 percent next year.
