Magazine: Profi, the local superstar can become the market leader in Romania
The experts of LZ Retailytics forecast that by 2023 the Profi chain will be the market leading FMCG retailer in Romania. They say this mainly has to do with the fact that the mostly small Profi shops are close to where people live. It was the Belgian group Louis Delhaize that founded Profi; they were present in the Hungarian market between 1991 and 2012. Since 2016 the group’s owner has been private equity company Mid Europa Partners. //
