Data from the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI) and KSH’s market price information system (PÁIR) revealed that Hungary’s live pig export fell 14 percent in the first quarter of 2018. In the same period live pig import climbed 2 percent. Our fresh egg export surged by 73 percent (263 tons); we sold the biggest quantity, 204 tons to Austria.
