The pressing of the Balatoni korona starts on Friday
The pressing of the Northern-Balaton region local currency, the Balatoni korona will start on Friday, which is expected to be marketed in late March – said Leitold László Deputy CEO of the Kinizsi Bank in the Assembly of Veszprém on Thursday.
Porga Gyula mayor announced in mid-May last year that they plan to introduce a local currency in Veszprém and its region. Balatonalmádi, Balatonfüred,Várpalota and three nearby villages, Nemesvámos Litér and Tihany also joined to the initative. The banknotes, which will serve as a voucher Porga Gyula said on Thursday: “It is true that it is not the first local currency, but it is the most beauthiful.” – reports MTI.
