Based on paper

Problems with hygiene can seriously damage the prestige of HoReCa units. Paper articles of adequate quality play a major role in the way the business is perceived by guests. According to Attila Galló, HoReCa manager of Tork, like all new products, theirs also needs time to become popular. It takes a lot of persuasion to get clients to accept a system which is more expansive at first glance, but can save money in the long run. He thinks that the process of replacing textile towels used in kitchens by paper towels is too slow. Tímea Várvölgyi from Assist-Trend Kft. shares his opinion. She emphasises that a more hygiene-conscious attitude is needed in the HoReCa sector. Assist-Trend Kft. not only offers paper products for kitchen use, but also for laying tables. Apart from their colourful Trend napkins, they also have more exclusive Duni products, which are available with individual logos as well. Tork is also relying on the central role played by hygiene in the HoReCa business. As Attila. Galló has told us, their products help to build a sense of comfort and hygiene from kitchens to tables and washrooms. Their new products to be launched soon are the „Service” napkins which can accommodate cutlery and the decorative and elegant, vanilla scented napkins for use in confectioneries and cafes. Another of their successful products is the economical paper towel dispenser. As a result of increasing competition, brand building and brand loyalty have also become key words in the HoReCa business. Logos are important and Tork is the number one supplier of napkins with logos in Europe. In the experience of Assist-Trend, ecological considerations are becoming increasingly important for some clients in the HoReCa sector. However, demand for their environment-friendly products, like the toilet water which decomposes upon contact with water, is still below their expectations. Attila Galló emphasises that paper itself is environment-friendly, if it contains no plastic fibre.
