Auchan is preparing for the festive rush with Paleo Christmas fondants and special sweets
The candy season begins in Auchan a month and a half before Christmas. In the first half of November, mostly companies, nurseries and schools are buying sweets for Christmas.
The demand is usually steady in the weeks before 6 December and 24 December but in the last days the demand usually jumps, because 60 percent of the buyers are purchasing the Christmas fondants and chocolate Santa Clauses this time. The range of diabetic products and special nutritional requirements, such as bio or gluten-free delicacies are growing year after year at the supermarket chain.
