The GKI-Erste economic activity index was again on top in October
In October, the seasonally adjusted value of the GKI-Erste economic activity index nearly reached its one and a half decades peak reached in April.
According to the survey of the GKI (www.gki.hu) carried out with the support of the EU, the business and consumer confidences have improved significantly; The companies in the summer of 1998, while consumers in the spring of 2006, were so optimistic as now.
Optimism spread substantially within the entire business sector with the exception of trade – where the expectations have deteriorated significantly in October.
