New McDonald’s Restaurant in Budapest Offers the Future Experience from 3 October
With the handover of the Oktogon Square restaurant, McDonald’s domestic Developmental Licensee Partner has continued to transform its home units into a “Future Experience” concept. Large-scale development was launched in 2017 to modernize the experience with innovative kitchen and service processes and services supported by interactive digital technology.
So far, guests have been able to meet the new concept in 5 units in Budapest and one unit opened in Gyöngyös in 2018. The Oktogon Square restaurant is now joining it, and the next step in the process is the conversion of the Tatabánya drive-in restaurant. Renovation of the unit at the Jászai Mari Square in Budapest may also begin soon. It is planned that all units of the network will operate according to the new concept within a few years.
