OFA – A new form of support is financing trademark use
The National Employment Foundation (OFA) and Hungarian Product Nonprofit Kft. have signed a cooperation agreement. As part of this, OFA offers financial support to nearly 50 social cooperatives – form the 160 they mentor – in the form of financing the costs of their trademark use application.
Programme director Balázs Patai told: more than 20 cooperatives have already been granted trademark use rights or are in the last phase of the certification process. These are typically micro-businesses based in the countryside, employing 5-10 people to manufacture artisan products from traditional recipes, e.g. pasta, seasoning paprika, jam, etc. Jam, syrup and dessert maker Trizsi Ízek, pasta company Balmaz Tésztagyártó and vegetable producer Minden Ami Zöldség are already Hungarian Product trademark users. //
