Hungarian agricultural exports over eight billion euros
Hungarian exports of agricultural products were over eight billion euros last year, while the foreign trade balance closed with 3 billion euros positive, despite the avian influenza has had a significant negative impact on the presence of the Hungarian poultry sector on the export market, but the former situation is expected to recover again in October – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
The export of Hungarian agriculture grew by nearly 40 percent in six years – Font Sándor, Chairman of the Agricultural Committee of the Parliament said at opening of the 1st NAK Field Days and Agricultural Machinery Show in Mezőfalva. Since 2010, Hungarian agriculture has been steadily and significantly contributing to GDP growth, and the sector’s output has been growing for six years. (MTI, agrarszektor.hu)
