Eurozone and EU inflation accelerated in November
In line with the expectations in November, the annual increase in consumer prices in the euro area was 1.5 percentage points higher than the preliminary data and 0.1 percentage points above the previous month, according to Eurostat’s final data published on Monday.
In November, compared with a year before, consumer prices were 1.5 percent higher in the 19 EU member states and in the 28 Member States of the European Union increased by 1.8 percent. In October, the annual price increase was 1.4 percent in the euro area and 1.7 percent in the EU.
Compared to the previous month, consumer prices increased by 0.1 percent both in the euro area and in the EU in November. (MTI)
