The consumption of eggs may increase

The nutritional content of table eggs have improved significantly in recent decades – agrarszektor.hu wrote. Improved housing and feeding conditions contributed mainly to the changes. The Takarék Agrár Központ prepared a medium-term forecast over the egg market developments.

The forecasts of the Takarék Agrár Központ Centre for Agricultural Economy:

– Due to changes in eating habits, the market penetration egg-free pastas and due to the new types of side dishes egg consumption declines. But the Takarék Agrár Központ predicts that the domestic consumption of eggs can be expanded by about 10 percent in the coming 6-8 years.
