An increase in the EU economy
The gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014 in the EU28 on a quarterly basis – according to the preliminary data of the EU's statistical office, the Eurostat.
in the Euro Zone consisting of 18 Member States a 0.3 percent quarterly GDP growth occured in October-December 2014.
According to the data already available the highest quarterly growth among the EU Member States was in Hungary; 0.9 percent. The second largest increase was in Germany and Spain, with both 0.7 percent. (MTI)
