There is no evidence to suggest that the virus would infect through food
Feng Lu-chao, an expert at the Epidemiology Center, told a news conference on Friday that the new coronavirus is most commonly spread by droplet infection among people in close contact. It is also a risk to stay in a confined, confined space for an extended period of time, where drops in the air may occur in greater numbers. However, through the digestive system, the chances of infection are extremely low with food safety precautions – hygiene, disinfection of tableware and cutlery, and proper handling of food. (MTI)
