Business sentiment in Germany is on a four-year low
In February, the business sentiment in Germany was worse than expected, decreased to a more than four-year low – according to a survey conducted by the Munich-based ifo economic research institute.
According to a survey conducted by the ifo Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich (ifo Institut – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München e.V.) published on Friday, in February, instead of the expected 99.0 points, the indicator that quantifies the business climate in Germany has fallen to the lowest since December 2014 from the previous month’s 99.3 points.
