Ten thousand tons of food products and one million liters of drinks were seized within an international action
The Hungarian experts seized 243 tons of food products and 17 thousand liters of drinks in the action called Opson – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced on Wednesday.
The action was aimed against food adulteration and was coordinated by Europol and Interpol. From November 2015 to February 2016, more than 10 000 tonnes of food products and 1 million liters of drinks were seized by the professionals in 57 countries. (MTI)
