NAV: gifts are tax-free at festivals
Gifts given at festivals are tax-free, up to 10 percent of the total costs – was published by the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) on its website.
The Tax Administration (NAV) explains that the summer festivals and village days are priority events. At these events there are usually no entry fee, the general public may attend them free of charge. In many cases, the organizers provide free food and drinks for the visitors and contributors. (MTI)
