Business sentiment improved significantly in the euro zone
Business sentiment improved much stronger-than-expected in Germany and in the eurozone in June – according to the Mannheim-based ZEW (Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung) Economic Research Institute.
The ZEW said on Tuesday that the ZEW sentiment index rose to 19.2 points, from the 6.4 points of May. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal, expected worsening mood, and 5.0 points for June. (MTI)
