The new bottle of vodka is really cool
Brown-Forman’s Finlandia vodka has unveiled a new packaging design that captures the “dynamic essence” of the brand.
The design continues the brand’s half-century tradition of ice-inspired bottles, while incorporating premium elements – such as embossed imagery, an enhanced colour palate and new branding.
Carmen D’Ascendis, senior vice president and global brand director for Finlandia vodka, said: “With this next evolution of ice, we added details, providing entry points into stories that give the brand meaning.”
The bottle’s design features reindeer and the midnight sun embossed on its shoulder, as well as bold blue and copper details, with a tagline: ‘Vodka from the land of the midnight sun’.
D’Ascendis added: “The new Finlandia vodka packaging is a beautiful next step in the evolution of our award-winning design work that reflects the premium vodka within.”
Designed by Cartils Branding & Packaging Design, the new Finlandia bottle will be available in Poland, Finland and Czech Republic from June 2018, before rolling out to further European countries in December and America and Russia in June 2019.
