The aim is to prevent the spread of swine fever
The two most important veterinary tasks of the next period are the most effective limitation of the spread of African swine fever (ASP) and the prevention of cross-contamination into domestic pigs – the Minister of Agriculture announced at the Training Day of the Hungarian Veterinary Chamber (MÁOK) on Thursday in Újfehértó, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County.
Nagy István stressed that the ministry will continue to take all possible measures to alleviate the trade losses caused by the disease and the recovery of the export markets lost thereby. In this work, veterinarians are a trusted partners to the industry, it is worth to built on their services – he added. (MTI)
