METRO encourages its employees to do charity work
This year METRO provides huge donations to those in need. Every year the company puts great emphasis on charity, which not only covers the end of the year, but also provides significant help throughout the year to organizations such as the Hungarian Red Cross, the Hungarian Food Bank Association or the Hungarian Association for the International Child Protection Service.
Recently, within the Food Bank Association’s campaign, the customers donated nearly 19 tons of durable food and the company handed over hundreds of millions of HUF worth of food surplus to the Food Bank in 2019. Wholesale also activates its own employees during these collections, who also volunteer.
