Investment mood on nadir
“The investment intention of the domestic businesses decreased to depths, that have never experienced. Less than half of the SMEs are thinking about development. In terms of the subject of investments IT developments are still in the lead “- said Németh László, SME Marketing Department leader of K&H.
“The result of the representative survey carried out by interviewing 500 local SME managers shows that at the moment, only 49 percent of the the businesses are planning some kind of investments in the next one year, which is a significant 12 percentage point decline, compared to the previous quarter.” 27 percent of the SMEs are preparing for IT-improvements, while 18 percent of them are preparing for machinery and equipment developments. Here a substantial, four percentage points decrease can be observed. Only 14 percent of the SMEs are planning fleet modernization”- Németh László added.
