Lidl speaks
We asked the representatives of Lidl how they prepare for the new Food Act. – Lidl does its best to meet the requirements. Contrary to popular belief, Hungarian products are not the cheapest, but most of the time are of very good quality. Besides promoting low prices, we also focus on quality, even more so because our consumers demand high quality. The proportion of branded products and private labels remains to be one to nine. Our plan is to open 20-22 new stores next year – says purchasing director Gergely Kovács.
