The Laurel group held a conference at Balatonalmádi’s Ramada Hotel & Resort Lake Balaton on 15-16 October. In the lobby, the company’s own, exclusively represented and partner companies’ innovations awaited participants. Holobox, a 3D interactive display attracted the biggest attention. The revolving virtual products indicated that the advertising media of the future has arrived. According to surveys, a spatial display transmits 20 times more information to the brain than a flat one. István Bessenyei, managing director of Laurel Számítástechnikai Kft. says that we live in an era of explosive changes – those who react fast will gain competitive advantage. Partners need instant solutions that make returns rapidly and improve efficiency in a provable way. In 2007 and 2008, the company won IBM’s prize and Microsoft also awarded them. At the conference, FHB Kereskedelmi Bank Zrt. presented its unique mobile wallet solution: mobilFizetés is cheaper, more comfortable and secure than using a debit card. Rotte Group provided the beautiful furniture and equipment for presenting in-store devices.
