Wild garlic festival in Orfű
The 11th Wild Garlic Festival awaits its guests with unique foods and with colorful and interesting programs. The festival will take place on the second weekend in April in Orfű, near Pécs.
Serényi András, one of the organizers told at the heralding a press conference of the event on Wednesday, in Pécs, that the series of events starts on 12 April Saturday, at 10 o'clock with an opening ceremony at the Medvehagyma (Wild garlic) statue, then a costume parade starts in the Kemencés Udvar (Oven Backyard), where educational presentations will be held in connection with the wild garlic.
