Robotization in harvest
Agriculture is one of the industries that is able to take full advantage of the development of robotization. Daily Star reports that from Belgium to England and Japan, farmers are already using robots to harvest their crops daily – origo wrote.
In early July, the University of Cambridge announced the development of a vegetable picking robot capable of recognizing and successfully harvesting lettuce.
The chief technology officer of Octinion Robotics said that the for example the Rubion uses mathematical analysis to find strawberries and to determine the ripeness of the fruit by infrared thermometry. (Dailystar.co.uk, origo)
