Industrial production is expanding
In November 2009, industrial production fell by 6.8 percent compared to the same period a year earlier, but in December KSH measured a 1-percent growth. The quick report reveals that volume of industrial prediction was 17.7 percent lower than in 2008 – the last time production fell this much was in 1991 (by 18.4 percent). Nevertheless, it must be mentioned that in the second part of 2009 the negative trend lost half of its speed. December 2009 was the first time that the processing industry’s output was higher – by 3.1 percent – in comparison to the same month a year earlier.
