Samcap: Hungarian innovation at drinkpackaging

Samcamp is a special storage container, wich offers a solution: to storage separately certain components of an otherwise unstabile mixture.

The innovation made by Janos Samu and Maria Palfi-Ledniczky
opens a new way for packaging soft drinks, food supplements, pharmaceuticals,
chemicals for household and other purposes, and so it creates a new generation
of freshly prepared products. . By means of the invention, the unstable
components can be stored in the flask isolated from each other, and are only
delivered into the juice while opening the container, just prior to
consumption. For example SAMCAP system allows the vitamin C to dissolve in
water only while opening the bottle. So the consumer every time can have a
fresh made vitamin C containing drink. The manufacturer simply have to put the
optimal amount of vitamin into the capsule.

Today`s challenge for the soft drink manufacturer is the use
of natural color, taste, aroma and vitamin substances in the new produtcts.
These natural substances decompose rapidly when they are in the form of dilute
solutions such as a common soft drink. The decomposed substances frequently
cause unpleasant taste and aroma, and can change the color of the drink. On the
other hand, these substances remain stable for extended periods of time when
stored in a concentrated form. Using this invention, the fruit concentrate will
be diluted only moments before consumption by opening the bottle, so the
consumer can have the freshest possible juice every time.
