Bird flu: state compensation on the basis of market value
After the disease control measures imposed in connection with the bird flu, the breeders can request for state compensation on the basis of market value of the livestock.
The first avian influenza was observed at the beginning of November 2016 in Hungary. Since then the number of outbreaks has also increased and the infected area is also increasing. The disease mainly affects poultry stocks of Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád, and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties, in addition the measures of NÉBIH were also extended to Hajdú-Bihar county. Those who had to kill the herds as a result of the action, can request for state compensation. (by our colleague)
