Announcement of the National Association of Plant-Based Food Manufacturers and Distributors
NÉGYOSZ organized a pioneering professional event that focused on the relationship between plant-based nutrition and health.
The purpose of the conference was to dispel misconceptions, present the benefits and risks of the diet, and promote dialogue between the actors involved.
Prominent experts gave presentations at the event:
- Andrea Zentai (NNGYK): Nutritional health assessment of plant-based foods
- Dr. Zoltán Szabó (PTE): Misconceptions and health issues regarding plant-based diets
- Zsuzsanna Szűcs (MDOSZ): Nutrition science dilemmas
- Zsuzsanna Huszár (Restaurant): The spectrum of plant foods
- Dr. Éva Polyák (PTE): The relationship between the plant-based diet and the gut microbiome
After the presentations, an exciting round table discussion took place, where governmental, professional and corporate participants jointly searched for answers to the most important questions. The moderator of the event was food policy analyst Réka Szöllősi. Why was this event special? This conference not only provided professional knowledge, but was the first to create a comprehensive consultation platform on the sustainability and health issues of plant-based nutrition. The dialogues born here can form the basis for future cooperation.
